NBA 23/24 Season Best Bets

Looking at 2 season long bets for the NBA 23/24 season!

Before we delve into this, As promised, for my fantasy readers, a new piece will follow this weekend, on DYNASTY leagues!

So for today, as an experienced NBA bettor with over 6 years of betting on both season-long bets and game/player props, I'll be sharing some of my bets for the upcoming NBA season that I’ve made on stake.com.

Before we dive into the bets, I want to emphasise the importance of responsible gambling. Only bet an amount you're comfortable losing, and use these picks as reference points rather than blindly following them.

Detroit Pistons 27.5 wins OVER

Odds: 2 to 1

Cade Cunningham missed 70 games last season, and is now back and ready to go, reportedly getting an invite for the USA team for FIBA, but choosing not to go to focus on the upcoming NBA season. I have high regard for Cade as a winning player and someone with massive upside. Couple this with Duren and Ivey’s growth as second year players along with the stud they have drafted in Ausar Thompson, I feel like they can sneak their way to 30 wins. I will take the OVER here.

New Orleans Pelicans 43.5 wins OVER

Odds: 1.74 to 1

With Zion Williamson expected to return at the start of the season, the Pelicans' outlook becomes much brighter. Last season, they were on a 48-win pace when Zion played. Moreover, the rise of Murphy and a healthy Ingram (who missed 37 games last season) further bolsters their chances this year. As a result, I see the Pelicans potentially reaching the 48-win mark once again in the highly competitive Western Conference and competing for home court in the first round of the playoffs. I will take the OVER here.

Thank you for reading, I will be publishing more picks over the course of the offseason!
